The Express – Southern California’s Premiere German Band

The Express is Southern California’s top German band. They are seasoned entertainers who perform throughout Southern California’s German hot spots. Drawing crowds wherever they perform, The Express have been playing at Big Bear’s Oktoberfest for more than a decade

and truly have become the festival’s favorite!
The Express will perform Sept. 15 & 16; Oct. 13 & 14; Oct. 20 & 21 and Oct. 27.

Back by popular demand is the Franken Power Express band direct from Germany.  The Franken Power Express performed at the 2009 Oktoberfest and were a huge crowd favorite.  The eight-piece band hales from Hammelburg, Germany.  The band generally plays throughout Germany with a 30-piece brass band, but have modified their numbers to play here in the States.  They are credited with bringing several of the latest hits from the Munich Oktoberfest, including the Fliederling song and Cowboys & Indians.  This year, the newest hits include the Bob Fahrer and Nossa.
