The Bier and The Food
What would a German festival be without German beer, bratwursts, sauerkraut, and
apple strudel? It would not be very authentic! We pride ourselves on being one of
the most authentic Oktoberfests in the United States. To that end, we use only
German butchers, bakers and beer makers! So bring your appetite and prepare to
feast on German food and enjoy some of the very same beer that the folks at
Munich's Oktoberfest relish.
At the Big Bear Lake Oktoberfest all food and beer transactions are done with tickets.
We have three ticket windows conveniently located throughout the building to serve you.
You can buy beer, wine, food and snack tickets at any of the three locations. So before
you 'saddle up' to the bar or feast on that German meal, head to a ticket window and
purchase the appropriate tickets!
Bitte ein Bier! (Another beer please!)
This year, the Big Bear Lake Oktoberfest will proudly be pouring:
- Warsteiner Pilsner
- Warsteiner Dunkel
- Warsteiner Oktoberfest
- King Ludwig Hefeweisen
- Budweiser
- Bud Light
- Amber Bock
- Red Hook Blonde
- Jack's Pumpkin Spice
- - Merlot
- - Chardonnay
- - White Zinfindel
- - Reisling
O'Doul's Complimentary Shuttle:
If you've had a little too much Oktoberfest fun, leave the driving to us and catch a ride
home on the O'Doul's Shuttle. The complimentary shuttle begins running at 6:00 p.m. every
Saturday evening and will take you anywhere in the Big Bear Valley. It's door-to-door service.
Please note: the O'Doul's Shuttle is a service to take you home. The shuttle will not
stop at another bar and/or retail location.
Designated Drivers Program:
As always, we encourage you to have fun and enjoy Oktoberfest, but we
ask that you do not drink and drive. New this year, 'Designated Driver
Pitstop'. We provide unlimited complimentary sodas, coffee and O'Doul's
during your Oktoberfest visit. Simply let anyone of our Gaudi Truppe
(waitresses) or food and beverage staff know that you are the
designated driver. They will provide you with an i.d. bracelet.
The Food:
You'll find a German feast fit for King Ludwig himself at the Big Bear Lake Oktoberfest, and
when the mountain air stirs up the appetite, we have a variety of speciality items to tempt
your taste buds.
